Heidi Klum talked about her dramatic catwalk debut at Paris Fashion Week, where she wore a much-discussed hairstyle reminiscent to her brother-in-law’s. Supermodel Heidi Klum is used to getting criticism about her appearance because she is always in the spotlight. Reactions to the celebrity, who previously talked about aging in the industry, went viral on social media as she debuted with a new hairstyle on September 27 on the Vetements Spring 2025 catwalk.

Serving face, looks, and supermodel enthusiasm, Klum ruled the runway for her first scheduled official Paris Fashion Week runway wearing a striking all-black ensemble. Style director Guram Gvasalia of Vetements wore a long black coat, black shirt with the German word “Polizei” emblazoned on it, and stylish leather pants. The TV personality finished her look with high-heeled boots that went well with her jeans.

Klum styled her typically long, wavy blonde hair into tighter curls to add even more edginess. She had bright new hair with bangs that was darker at the roots and shorter in length. Social media went crazy after seeing pictures and videos of the “America’s Got Talent” judge strutting the runway. The majority of internet users remarked on Klum’s new hairstyle and noted how strikingly similar it was to her husband Bill Kaulitz’s twin brother. One Instagram user commented, “@billkaulitz bestie stole your look 😍,” while another made a joke, “Oh Bill, is that you?” Another person chimed in, “She is twinning with her [brother-in-law] @billkaulitz,” echoing the feelings expressed above.

In the meantime, a fan expressed their admiration for Klum’s appearance by saying, “Wow, so very good!🔥.” But not everyone loved Klum’s look, particularly her hair, which was reminiscent of Kaulitz. One Facebook user commented, “I do not like the bangs!,” while another said, “Okay, but what is with the full do [?]” “At first, I thought she was sitting in the audience and not on the runway, because she is unrecognizable,” said a witness who wrote their comment in German.

Another said, “Wowwww Heidi now.. [More manly].” “She seems ancient and not very lovely,” was the criticism leveled by another spectator. The “Project Runway” anchor was thrilled with her presentation, regardless of what a few internet trolls thought of her fashion show ensemble. After walking the runway, Klum had an exclusive backstage interview with Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) where she provided some behind-the-scenes details of the historic occasion. Klum exclaimed, “The music was wonderful and brought this cool German underground vibe to the show,” after her boasts about how powerful she felt on the runway and how Gvasalia told her not to smile during her walk.
