Following Frank Fritz’s tragic passing, friends and co-stars of “American Pickers” have shared heartfelt condolences to the cherished antique collector, leaving the “pickers” community in sadness. The passing of Frank Fritz, a well-known figure to millions of people thanks to “American Pickers,” has left his co-stars and friends grieving. Robert Wolfe, his longtime co-star, and other cast members have shared heartfelt thoughts on the relationship they had off-screen as well as on.

Robert, a castmate and close friend, posted the news on Instagram and expressed his sadness for Frank’s demise. You all know him from TV. However, I was acquainted with him through travel, fishing, and family; he was my twin girls’ godfather. His humor would be missed, and his smile was contagious,” he remarked. Another co-star, Danielle Colby, also wrote in her post about the things she would miss about Frank. “Your capacity to make people laugh, your passion for discussing tattoos, and your amazing collections will all be missed, but what I will regret most are those infrequent moments of vulnerability,” she wrote on Instagram.

Danielle said that among many other things, Frank’s love for his mother and cat helped them become friends. She also said that Frank would be much missed. She said, “Rest in Peace, Road Dog,” as she concluded her homage. The “Frank Fritz Friends” Facebook group administrator, Oliver Starr, expressed sadness, saying they have “lost a very genuine guy” who loved others and brought them so much joy. Oliver also disclosed Frank’s health issues before to his passing. He said, “He battled valiantly for the previous two years, going through many ups and downs, but in the end, his body could not handle the combination of his severe stroke and Crohn’s illness.”

Following the October 1 announcement of Frank’s passing by Annette Overlanded Willows, another administrator of the Facebook page honoring the late TV personality, Danielle, Robert, and Oliver paid heartfelt tributes to him. On the platform, Annette said that Frank passed away at 7:30 p.m., surrounded by friends who had hurriedly flown from Nashville to be with him, including Mike Wolfe, Robert’s brother and co-star.

Annette made a request as well in her announcement, stating, “Please be aware that we are going through a very difficult moment. Please be understanding as we work to find a solution for this, including Mike. I want to thank everyone for their love and support over the years. Frank’s health issues, especially his severe stroke and Crohn’s illness, were brought to the public’s attention following the dissemination of a death hoax that preceded his actual death.

On August 3, Annette had refuted the erroneous allegations, stating that Frank was still alive and that any more information regarding his condition would only be provided by reliable sources. More information regarding Frank’s last wishes became available in the days following his death. Annette stated that Frank had asked to be cremated and not have any formal services; instead, he had wanted a celebration of life.
